i.ORIGIN.8 is run by a team of DJ's, Producers & MC's from the classic 90's era. The 90's produced some of dopest HIP HOP to date. Many of these hits have been forgotten or lost on some 12" vinyl stashed away in someones attic. Our mission is to dust off all these records and bring them back to life. Our motto, "PRESERVATION MAKES THE GREATEST HIP HOP" comes from a quote by one of the 90's dopest MC's, MOS DEF, on his 2009 hit, QUIET DOG. At i.ORIGIN.8 we keep to this motto through quotes by some of the G.O.A.T's of the 90's HIP HOP era. We may sneak in some new school T's from time to time.
